To indicate which
persons are responsible for which task, the RACI model was used. It indicates
the following:
R – Persons who
are responsible for the task
A – Persons who are final responsible
for the task
C – Persons who are consulted
I – Persons who are only informed
Below you can see the completed model.
"Alles voor een glimlach." ("Everything for a smile."), this is the slogan of Coolblue, the e-commerce company that started once as a student company and has grown into a large business with more than 7,200 employees. Coolblue has two goals: to be an exemplary company in the field of customer-oriented entrepreneurship and to add value.
In addition to the online webshop, Coolblue also has 20 physical stores, where the employees are always ready to help its customers with a smile.
In order to serve its customers as effectively as possible, Coolblue has built its own infrastructure in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, including its own delivery network, installation services, bicycle delivery network and shops. For each product, the best matching network is chosen. The company also takes old equipment from customers for environmentally friendly disposal if they wish.
Coolblue has its own warehouse with only its own parts and employees and the company claims that this is one of the reasons for a high net promoter score NPS. The company delivers on its promises, such as next day delivery, 7 days a week and it has a high first-time-right score.
Businessculture CoolblueThe company says: "Our culture is our success. Started as a group of friends, still a group of friends. One of smart, enterprising professionals. It's important that everyone understands why we do things the way we do them."
Coolblue has five core values in the company culture:
- Just marvel. Anything for a smile.: The word 'just' says a lot. Just a clear website, where customers can just order. The order is just put in a box and just sent to the customer. To 'marvel' is to exceed expectations by taking an extra step and surprising the customers.
- Friends. Honest, open, direct.: In Coolblue many colleagues are friends with each other. This is their strength. No one wishes anything bad for a friend and together they know better than alone. You don't lie to friends and it's just fun. You don't easily see someone with a tie, because friendship arises from equality. They are honest, open and direct with customers.
- Just do it. A little better every day.: The company has grown by getting a little better every day. And this comes from just doing it. They dare and do, make mistakes and learn from them.
- Quirky. A little different.: The employees can be themselves. Whether subdued or noisy. This is what connects them.
- Flexible. Dare to change.: The company has been flexible from the start to support growth. "We always do it this way" is no longer said. The employees are used to changes.
